Complimentary Personal Accident Insurance Cover for Blue Users

Hi everyone,

Eager to announce that we are live with the Complimentary Personal Accident Insurance Cover for Blue Users.

Here are the release notes for the same:

Product Features:
- This is an insurance product for Blue users only, in partnership with Bharti AXA
- Insurance coverage: In case of death of user, the nominee gets INR 1,00,000
- This is not valid of any partial disablement/injury
- The premium amount is being borne by NiYO (Re 1 + GST = Rs 1.18)
- The insurance will be valid for any monthly active Blue user (defined as any Blue user who has made at least one POS/Ecomm transaction in a 30 day cycle)

30 day cycle definition:
- User makes first transaction (T)
- User gets covered for next 30 days (from T to T+30)
- If user makes another transaction in the next 30 days (from T to T+30), user gets covered for the next month as well (from T+30 to T+60)
- If user does not make any transaction in the next 30 days (from T to T+30), policy does not get renewed for next month (from T+30 to T+60)
- After not transacting for the next 30 days (from T to T+30), if the user transacts again (let's say on T+40), recalibrate the start date of cycle to T+40

Assisted banking for Mobile number change for Payroll customer


Explaining the Assisted banking feature:-

On the assisted app: [ This is FYI ]
1.    The customer walks up to the PRO/PRM/Sales having the assisted banking app
2.    The assistant enters the customer's email ID / mobile number / CRN in the search box
3.    The assistant taps on the customer from the list of search results and requests the customer to perform a biometric authentication
4.    Post authentication, the customer can request for Balance, Mini statement(type of txn and # of txn) (both are sent by SMS to the registered mobile number) or a mobile number change request
5.    In mobile number change request, the customer asks the assistant to enter the new mobile number
6.    Then the customer has to perform a biometric authentication
7.    Upon successful biometric authentication, the request is placed, the customer gets an SMS on the new mobile number which contains the "Reference ID". 
8.    Customers will then need to call support  1860 258 3009 to get their requests approved. They will have received an SMS on their new mobile number. If not, they can call support and ask them to resend the SMS.

As of now : 3 functionalities are going live: [ FYI ]

1. Send Balance [ will be sent directly to the customer's registered # ]
2. Send statement  [ will be sent directly to the customer's registered # ]
3. Change mobile number [ support will receive these requests for validation & approval ]

Actionable for Customer Support team - on WB : [ Please take note of this ]

Support team needs to log on to workbench, go to Assisted banking requests tab and approve using a code the customer provides - then verify the user details and the new mobile number before approving. Alternatively [ if the ref # is not available or expired ] , they can enter the CRN and click on resend SMS and follow the steps explained below:  

Steps for 
Personal Data change [ Mobile #] using Assisted banking tab on WB :


Scenario 1 : With Ref # 

Step 1 : WB > Assisted Banking > Reference # &  Click on ' Next '


Step 2 : Validate the customer [ Ref customer Validation Process ] & Click on 'Confirm' 


Step 3 :  Number will be updated.  Re-confirm on WB 


Scenario 2 : With CRN [ when ref # is not available , re-generate ref # with CRN ]

Step 1 : WB > Assisted Banking > CRN > Resend SMS  [ a 4 digit numeric code will be generated] 


Step 2 : Enter Ref # > ' Click on ' Next '


Step 3 : Validate customer [Ref Customer Validation Process ] & click on ' confirm'


Step 4 : Number will be updated.  Re-confirm on WB

Calls from Unregistered Numbers

Hi Team,

Whenever we receive calls from unregistered Numbers, I would suggest the following to be incorporated as a healthy practice to encourage callers to call from the registered numbers and use the IVR wherever possible. 

Check with the caller if the old registered number belongs to the respective customer and if it’s functional:- 

If the number is operational, then encourage the customer to call from the registered number.

If the number is not operational, the customer needs to register the new number and start using the register number. 

If the old number does not belong to the customer, inform him on the chances of misuse/fraud and request the customer to update his new number.

NIYO HAS PUBLISHED  NIYO BHARAT APP FOR NIYO ACCOUNT HOLDERS IN HINDI.

BELOW IS THE DETAILS AND SCREENSHOTS:

On NIYO Bharat App, you can see the balance of your NIYO card and the transactions done by the card. When you are not using your NIYO card, you can lock it by the app and unlock it before using it. This way your card and the money you have in it will always be safe. If you forget your ATM PIN this app can change your ATM PIN. Request any other service through written or oral medium within the app.

ADVANCE SALARY


1.      Employee calls our IVR (1800-258-3009) to register his/her request for a salary advance by selecting an amount and keying in the last 4 digits of the card to confirm.

2.      After the deadline for the month, the list of eligible requests is consolidated by NiYO and shared with the corporate.

3.      Corporate gives us their attendance data and approves/reduces the amount to be disbursed as advance on their behalf.

4.      Advance Salary will be credited between 20th to 25th of every month.

5.      Corporate gives out salary on regular date next month

6.      NiYO recovers the advance given along with a processing fee of 2% in an automated manner.

7.      Next month, when salary is disbursed, NIYO recovers loaned amount + fees automatically.

Changes in Paper KYC Process- DCB NiYO Cards
